It is true, folks - Manny Villar and the Arroyos are a partnership made in corruption hell.
The "open secret" among the party mates of Gloria and Mike Arroyo is now finally out in public. Gibo Teodoro quit as Lakas Party Chair following his discovery that Mike Arroyo and his allies are supporting Villar and Teodoro does not believe that Gloria knows nothing about it. Obviously, Teodoro had to cite a different reason for stepping down as Lakas Party Chair.
The secret deal between Villar and the Arroyos is for the Arroyos to fund Villar's campaign (using public funds that the Filipinos, especially the OFWs, had worked so hard for) in exchange for Arroyo's protection from prosecutions/investigations (regarding all the irregularities under her administration) if Villar wins. The evil conspiracy that is Villarroyo is further evidenced by the on-going defection of Lakas Party key members to Villar's camp. Nagkaka-intindihan talaga ang pare-parehong mga corrupt, lustful for power and money at mga walang ibang iniisip kungdi ang kani-kanilang mga pansariling kapakanan at self-interests.
